We are a leading staffing agency seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our clients team as a Lead Cultivator. This role is ideal for someone passionate about plant cultivation and eager to oversee and optimize the growth of high-quality crops. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing cultivation operations and ensuring the highest standards in plant health and production.

Requirements / Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of plant cultivation from propagation to harvest.
  • Develop and implement cultivation plans to maximize yield and quality.
  • Monitor plant health and adjust environmental conditions to promote optimal growth.
  • Supervise and train cultivation team members, ensuring adherence to protocols.
  • Maintain detailed records of cultivation activities, including nutrient schedules and pest management.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operational flow.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years cannabis cultivation (minimum 1+ year supervisory/leadership)
  • Knowledge: Indoor grow systems, salt-based soilless mediums, integrated pest management, pesticide regulations
  • Tech/Systems: Familiarity with METRC, Dosatron systems, TrollMaster (HVAC/lighting control)
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, proactive problem-solving, basic maintenance/handyman ability a big plus
  • Mindset: Passionate about cannabis, hardworking, flexible with longer hours when needed, creative problem-solver
  • Familiarity with cultivation software and data tracking.
  • Relevant certifications or degrees in horticulture, agriculture, or related fields are preferred.

Job Details / Duties

  • Oversee daily cultivation activities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Adjust lighting, temperature, humidity, and irrigation systems as needed.
  • Manage propagation, cloning, transplanting, and harvesting schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections of plants for signs of disease or pests.
  • Ensure all cultivation equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
  • Collaborate with quality control to meet product specifications.
