Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, System Administrator/ Engineer

System engineer/system administrator are responsible for installing, managing, and upgrading Windows-based systems and servers within a company. They are also responsible for managing data security, configuring user access, and maintaining the stability of the system. This role will be responsible for multiple system engineering related tasks required for integration of clients acquired entity into clients network from IT infrastructure point of view.

Responsibilities
  • Experience in Citrix, Windows & VMware.
  • Experience in managing & troubleshooting Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops platform.
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell and Office 365.
  • Hands on experience with Exchange Online.
  • Hands on experience with SharePoint Online administration.
  • Good to have Teams admin experience.
  • Hands on app registrations on Azure.
  • Experience in BitTitan MigrationWiz or ShareGate migration tools knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in application management (packaging, deployment via Intune) will be an added advantage.
  • Configuration of servers, operating systems administration, hardening, load balancers including but not limited to management of users, processes, resource contention, preventive maintenance and management of updates & patches to ensure that the system is properly updated; re-installation in the event of system crash/failures.
  • Periodic health check of the systems, troubleshooting problems, analyzing and implementing rectification measures.
  • Implementation and maintenance of standard operating procedures for maintenance of the infrastructure.
  • Management of usernames, roles and passwords of all relevant subsystems, including servers, applications, devices, etc.
  • Implementing security on the Internet and Intranet; knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
  • Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, ensuring desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
  • Install and configure software and hardware; manage network servers and technology tools; set up accounts and workstations.
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements; troubleshoot issues and outages; ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
  • Upgrade/patch systems with new releases and models; maintain code repository server and access configuration.
  • Maintain cloud infrastructure, application, and database backup.
  • Configure and maintain server scaling and High Availability & Disaster Recovery.
  • Web/Mobile application release management on staging and production servers; managing and deploying Azure solutions; troubleshooting and resolving Azure services-related issues; configuring Azure services to meet organizational needs.
  • Designing and managing swap space in the cloud environment; maintaining Azure profiles and subscriptions; setting up private and public cloud environments; balancing and deploying workloads; implementing and managing cost-effective cloud systems.
  • Experience in O365 Administration, AD configuration, Data Migration Tooling, Azure Cloud, Single Sign-On (SSO) Configuration, Outlook/Exchange, Intune Configuration, Networking and domain DNS administration.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in Windows Sysadmin in on-prem and cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

  • Microsoft certified System Administrator.
  • Fluent English, oral and written.
  • Strong Analytical Thinking.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$72,000 to $85,000]. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including but not limited to the applicants experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
