Position Title: Lead Business Performance, Pre-Sales Engineer (P4)

Role: The Lead Business Performance collaborates with various teams to improve processes within Crown Castle's design and estimation functions, working closely with Sales Engineering, Data and Digital, Standards, and Innovation teams to identify inefficiencies, analyze data, and implement solutions for fiber design and estimation teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Improve and maintain sales processes and tools
  • Define and update scopes of work for fiber engineering in design and estimation tools
  • Provide Tier 1 support to Sales Engineers on business processes and systems
  • Conduct quarterly cost analyses and refine cost models
  • Edit geospatial data sets used in design and estimation tools
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering to identify and resolve process inefficiencies

Education/Certifications: BS/BA, preferably in Civil, Construction, or Electrical Engineering

Experience/Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of GIS experience with platforms like QGIS, ESRI, MapInfo
  • At least 7 years of outside plant engineering management or equivalent experience
  • or
  • 5+ years of Sales Engineering experience in fiber

Expectations: Analytical, goal-oriented, detail-focused, financially literate, organized, excellent communicator (written and oral), active listener, problem solver, customer-oriented, friendly, able to work under pressure, proficient in MS Office and geospatial platforms.

Organizational Relationship: Reports to Sr. Manager, Business Process. May have direct reports.

Working Conditions: Hybrid model: in-office Tuesdays to Thursdays; optional work from home on Mondays and Fridays; some travel required for collaboration.

Compensation: $105,300 - $144,800 annually, based on experience and other factors. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, paid time off, holidays, and potential bonuses or equity.
