This position is based onsite in Miami.

Position Summary:

The Lead Sales Automation Analyst provides data and decision support to the Royal Caribbean Group Sales teams. Responsibilities include analyzing sales data, forecasting, supporting sales leadership with insights, leading automation projects, and fostering partnerships across departments to develop technology solutions that enhance sales effectiveness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends across regions, products, accounts, markets, or segments.
  • Develop and enhance business reports; create financial models and projections for complex problems.
  • Provide analytical insights and recommendations to leadership through regular and ad-hoc reports and presentations.
  • Build relationships with Sales Managers, Directors, Executives, and cross-departmental colleagues.
  • Track departmental metrics, interpret data, and advise on sales strategies, processes, and revenue opportunities or risks.
  • Coordinate with other departments to implement policy changes and projects affecting processes.
  • Analyze competitive data to identify marketplace trends and innovations.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management and Marketing to identify revenue opportunities and ensure effective communication of marketing efforts.
  • Monitor and report on initiatives, recommending improvements.
  • Create and update reports and operational procedures; prepare executive analyses, reports, and presentations.
  • Develop and deliver training on technology tools for the sales team.
  • Establish partnerships with technology vendors and IT to ensure optimal solutions.
  • Conduct user focus groups and oversee feedback cycles.
  • Support existing technologies by coordinating with IT and vendors.
  • Represent the sales business unit in IT projects, identifying impacts and opportunities.
  • Identify synergistic opportunities with International Sales and Marketing Automation.
  • Stay current on industry standards, trends, and technology requirements.
  • Recommend new or existing products/services to senior management.
  • Support feasibility studies and project planning.
  • Participate in developing policies and procedures for the area.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree (BA) from an accredited institution; MBA or Master's preferred.
    • 2-4 years' experience in financial/business analysis; sales or marketing experience is a plus.
    • Strong analytical skills for interpreting data trends.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Hyperion, and other relevant tools.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Effective communication skills for presenting to management and groups.
    • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
    • Problem-solving skills with complex variables and situations.
