Large Projects Pursuit Bid Manager (Finance)

You will report directly to our Americas Proposal & Estimation Leader, and you'll work out of our Atlanta, Charlotte, Duluth, Houston, or Phoenix location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the success of our project pursuits by developing comprehensive bid strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our proposals meet customer requirements and expectations. As a Large Projects Pursuit Bid Manager at Honeywell, you will report directly to our Americas Proposal & Estimation Leader, and you'll work out of our Atlanta, Charlotte, Duluth, Houston, or Phoenix location on a hybrid work schedule.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in bid management or estimating for large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs related to building automation.
  • Proficiency in using bid management software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings.

  • Coordinate with District PMLs and Project Managers to calculate costs and selling prices.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope and risks.
  • Prepare detailed proposals, including technical and financial components, for customer presentation.
  • Participate in bid review meetings and present proposals to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain the bid plan, review/update the action rail, and coordinate follow-up calls, actions, and completion.
  • Assign tasks to team members, review their work, and ensure estimate accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Honeywell Estimation and TAC Teams, obtaining TRR approvals before L-Review calls.
  • Coordinate with P&E, Operations, and Sales teams to prepare slides for L-Review decks and organize calls.
  • Lead review processes at district (L1), regional (L2), and SBU (L3) levels.
  • Follow best practices outlined by the P&E function and the Americas Proposal & Estimation Leader.
