Large Level Wind Operator - Wieland Rolled Products North America : Job Details

Large Level Wind Operator Responsibilities:Maintains safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment as required. Maintains effective communication with other employees, including supervisor/management and during shift changes. Produces material within prescribed tolerances with focus on the next customer in a timely manner. Interprets Traveler Tickets (or Production Sheets) to determine the necessary adjustments to make on straightener device which aligns tubing for the Eddy Tester and to the wind up. Adjustment by hand without tools. Changes coil wind up and changes over pay-off table as required, 32 - 54 and vice versa. Maintains accurate records by posting and recording information as needed on traveler tickets and/or daily production sheets. Performs proper changes/adjustments to the Eddy Tester and recorder.
