Landscaping Assistant, Landscape Services - Northwest Missouri State University : Job Details

Of Position:To assist in maintaining landscaped and campus grounds. Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain landscaped and campus grounds by planting annuals, weeding beds, removing spent blooms and bulb foliage (spring), adding bulbs to beds (fall), installing and maintaining landscapes, mulching, planting, watering of trees and landscapes. Requires operating a push mower, weed eater, edger and backpack blower. Assist with snow removal and/or salting and sidewalk/stairs during inclement weather. Assist with installation and repair of irrigation systems. Assist in the completion of work orders. Ability to complete moving crew work orders. Assist with concrete projects. May require driving a University vehicle, on or off campus, to run various errands; May require driving a University all-terrain vehicle on campus to perform landscaping duties.
