Description

The Landscape Technician is responsible for participating in an efficient and comprehensive landscape maintenance program. The role includes covering for landscape technicians during scheduled or unscheduled absences, coordinating and directing a team of technicians and external vendors, and assisting with groundskeeping, building maintenance, and equipment upkeep.

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Leading the landscaping team in daily tasks, assisting during absences, and coordinating equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Training technicians in equipment use, maintenance, and tasks; assisting in groundskeeping operations; assessing work quality; and handling corrective actions.
• Performing groundskeeping and building maintenance, including mowing, planting, trimming, snow removal, and exterior cleaning.
• Installing landscape features, performing cleanups, and maintaining equipment and tools.
• Closing work orders, responding to service requests, and maintaining professional communication with customers.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications, and/or Other Professional Credentials

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial landscape maintenance.
• Experience driving larger vehicles with trailers.
• Customer service skills and proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to travel, work outdoors in all weather, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent; valid Driver's License required.

Hours & Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with some weekends or overtime, and potential schedule changes during winter.
