$45/hr -$55/hr

6 Month Contract w/ Extension and Potential Conversion

Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience working in the Quality or Lab Systems Space (on the IT side)
  • 5+ years of experience working with LabVantage or other LIMS systems (Starlims, IDBS, Dotmaticcs… labvantage most recently)
  • 3+ Years in Labvantage (configuration, customization, and integration capabilities)
  • Ability to build custom reports using JasperReports
  • Master Data Management and setup experience
  • Proficient in instrument integrations with LIMS
  • Experience implementing Environmental Monitoring, Stability, LES, Method development and verification etc.
  • Proficient in database management (e.g., SQL) and scripting for LIMS workflows.
  • Knowledge of GxP and Computer System Validation Processes
  • Ability to collaborate with Laboratory teams on SOP development
  • Proficient working with Quality Management Systems

Plusses:

  • Strong relational database knowledge and experience using Oracle and/or SQL Server.
  • Project Management experience – working cross functionally, making sure deadlines are met, keeping tasks organized.

Day to Day

A small and growing pharmaceutical company is seeking a Labvantage Administrator/Engineer to join on a Hybrid basis (1 day a week in Windsor, CT). This role will be focused on adding features to the labvantage platform, administering it and integrating it with laboratory processes and instruments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the installation, configuration, and administration of the LabVantage LIMS platform.
  • Provide technical support for end-users, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with laboratory personnel to ensure the LIMS meets operational requirements.
  • Develop and customize workflows, reports, and dashboards within the LabVantage platform.
  • Oversee system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the LIMS environment and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, including user guides, SOPs, and technical manuals.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and access control for system security.
  • Monitor system audits
