Laborer - Swisher Hygiene : Job Details

The laborer performs a variety of tasks to assist the processing of raw tobacco into finished products. Key Responsibilities

• General housekeeping and janitorial services of warehouse and workstations
• Transport raw materials from one place to another
• Assist in the loading of raw materials to the production lines
• Conduct inspections and quality control of materials and products
• Operate machinery to assist in the production process
• Assemble materials as required
• Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required
• Operation of forklifts and pallet jacks
• Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty
• Performs other related duties as required

QualificationsRequired

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with exposure to varying temperatures

Preferred

• Forklift and pallet jack certification
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
