- Help around the yard andsite with loading and unloading equipment or moving around work areas.
- Pressure wash, repair and clean mats.
- May perform some specialized tasks which may require on the job training.
- Perform various physical duties as assigned.
- Other duties as required.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Travel maybe required to service equipment to meet customer's needs and exceptions
- Communicate with Strad employees to ensure operations flow seamlessly. This will involve communicating with field and office staff as well as customers on site.
- Employee will be required to fill out field paperwork and daily safety and equipment paperwork both hand written and computer based
- Employee we as need to complete daily service of loader, skid steers and small gas engines
- Employee will be responsible for providing transportation to and from shop each day and arrive on time for there work day.
- Follow Company Policies and Procedures and adhere to Company Safety Standards and Safety Manual.
Knowledge, Education, Skills
- Experience with setup, repair and maintenance of related equipment an asset.
- Desire to provide top service for customers.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to relate well with customers and coworkers.
- Clean drivers abstract.
- Safety courses and certifications that are required (WHMIS, First Aid, H2S) can be provided by Strad.
- Must be able to work alone.
Physical Requirements:
- Be free of drugs and/or alcohol.
- Requires strenuous activity - walking, bending, crouching and standing for long periods of time; must also be able to lift up to 100lbs.
- Must be mentally alert at all times.
- Ability to drive for extended periods of time safely in varying weather conditions.
- Work in outdoor weather conditions in wet and extreme cold.
