Laboratory Technician - Scientific Search : Job Details

Location: Houston, TX

Our publicly traded midsized pharma with offices throughout the US and world has tasked Scientific Search in finding them a Laboratory Technician. This role will conduct and record results of testing of cell therapy products using an established panel of assays to support CMC laboratory tasks for product development and registration.

• Performs testing of cell therapy products using an established panel of assays to support CMC
• Grow and maintain mammalian cells in culture
• Generate and collect samples for study
• Analyze samples using techniques such as flow cytometry, immunoassays, live cell imaging, histological staining, qPCR
• Assist in technical transfers of new assays
• Collate and analyze experimental data
• Complete test records, enter samples into inventory
• Prepare data summaries for reports
• Perform general laboratory tasks including preparation of cell culture media and monitor and Screen critical materials and reagents
• Ensure the work environment always meets the required health and safety standards

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical field
• 3+ years' experience in industry or GxP laboratory
• Demonstrated laboratory experience with mammalian cell culture
• Demonstrated experience in techniques such as flow cytometry, immunoassays, live cell imaging, histological staining, qPCR
