Laboratory Technician - Compunnel : Job Details

Job Summary The Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing routine analytical and laboratory testing to support food safety, quality assurance, and operational teams. This role includes conducting tests under intermediate supervision, monitoring instrument performance, and documenting results to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine quantitative and qualitative testing on raw materials, in-process, and final products

Monitor and maintain analytical instruments, including performing calibration checks, preventative maintenance, and simple repairs

Document and interpret test results in active databases and communicate findings to internal teams as necessary

Support the development and maintenance of food/feed safety, quality, and regulatory (FSQR) culture through collaboration with cross-functional teams

Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory testing standards and procedures

Keep customer specification books and records updated

Write routine reports and maintain accurate test documentation

Address clerical, technical, or customer service-related tasks under general supervision and escalate complex issues as needed

Required Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Basic understanding of laboratory practices, safety protocols, and compliance standards

Proficiency in documenting and communicating technical results accurately

Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in food, feed, or quality testing laboratories

Familiarity with quality systems, regulatory documentation, and industry-specific compliance programs
