Job Title - Laboratory Technician Location - South Brunswick Township, NJ Duration - 6 to 12 Months Contract Role Work Schedule - Monday to Friday ,5 Days Onsite At Client) an Laboratory Technician plays a vital role in supporting the development and quality assurance of flavors and fragrances. This position involves preparing and testing samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Sample Preparation: Produce applied samples for various end-uses, following specific application protocols for internal evaluations and customer submissions.
• Compounding Formulas: Manually compound fragrance formulas and operate robotic automation systems to assist perfumers in fragrance development.
• Inventory Management: Order and replenish raw materials, monitor shelf life, and maintain accurate records of materials used in the laboratory.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on samples and reagents, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and laboratory safety protocols.
• Collaboration: Work closely with perfumers, sensory scientists, and cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and align with customer requests.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or coursework in chemistry, biology, or a related field is advantageous.
• Laboratory Experience: Prior experience in a laboratory setting is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training is provided.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures; proficiency in basic math for data analysis and calculations.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow precise instructions, maintain accurate records, and ensure the quality of compounded products.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and document findings.
