Duration: 0-12+ Months Shift: 1st Shift (Monday to Friday)Job Description: The Laboratory Technician is responsible for utilizing a wide array of computers, tools and automated machines to manufacture and qualify microplates used in Echo products. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Following established procedures to setup, fill and test various microplates
- Analyze large datasets using Excel and other advanced data analysis software
- Contribute to group problem solving and process improvement activities
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a technical, manufacturing or laboratory position
- Associates degree in a technical field or comparable work experience
- Proficiency in PC applications skills: MS Word, Excel, VB, MS Access, Windows Explorer
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 35lb
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- BS degree in a Life Science, Chemistry, or Engineering technology discipline
- Prior work experience with automation, centrifuges, plate readers, liquid handling equipment (Beckman, Agilent, Hamilton)
- Experience with SQL, Python, or other programming languages
