Eurofins Environment Testing South Central is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our wet chemistry department. The Laboratory Technician I, using general laboratory methods, techniques, equipment, and instrumentation in compliance with Eurofins Environment Testing Americas Quality Assurance programs and standard operating procedures, supports laboratory operations through general maintenance of laboratory and supply storage areas, equipment, instruments, and supplies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Retrieves samples from Sample Control for analysis. Performs sample preparation which may include, but is not limited to, acombination of the following methods:Aliquot samples. Spike and trace samples. Prepare reagents. Bottle samples. Prepare concentrations. Separation. Sonication. Liquid rack set up. Resolves discrepancies and anomalies to ensure samples are properly labeled.
