💼 Job Opening: Lab Tech Sr. – 3rd Shift

📍 Location: Santa Rosa, CA 95403

💲 Rate: $22.50/hr (W2)

🕙 Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

📅 Duration: 3-Month Contract (Possible Extension)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Confirmations Tech II (Lab Tech Sr.) to join our client Abbott's team. In this role, you will perform analytical testing, process instrument data, and ensure compliance with laboratory standards and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Accurately identify and process analyzed samples, ensuring proper sequence for each batch.
• Process instrument data and generate reports.
• Conduct first-level review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS analytical data.
• Upload or transcribe results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Maintain complete Chain of Custody batch documentation.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and escalate issues promptly.
• Maintain a safe and healthful work environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of analytical laboratory experience.
• Ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, and instruments.
• Prior laboratory experience preferred.
