Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a contract Lab Tech II I for our Pharmaceutical partner in Swiftwater, PA. Pay: 35-38/hr DOE Position Summary The Lab Tech II will be a key member of the Manufacturing Sciences, Analytics, and Technology team, supporting the Flu Support Lab in the execution of process development experiments. This role involves hands-on work with unit operations, general laboratory procedures, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the successful development of vaccine manufacturing processes. After training, the candidate will be expected to independently execute assigned experiments with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Experimental & Process Operations

  • Execute process unit operations including:
    • Tangential flow filtration
    • Centrifugation (batch and continuous)
    • Virus inoculation and propagation
    • Sterile filtration
  • Perform technical process operations for developmental lots.
  • Identify and communicate production issues to laboratory management.
Laboratory Support Functions
  • Prepare solutions and buffers.
  • Clean, assemble, and sterilize laboratory equipment.
  • Perform sampling, sample login, transfer, and results logging.
  • Maintain lab organization, cleanliness, and inventory.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Follow all EHS and laboratory safety procedures.
  • Participate in safety meetings, reporting any safety concerns, incidents, or near misses.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure proper execution of process operations.
  • Work with management to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
Requirements Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related scientific discipline, or
  • Two years of university in a scientific discipline plus relevant experience in vaccine, biologic, or pharmaceutical manufacturing/development.
Experience:
  • 1-3 years in biopharmaceuticals, vaccines, or process development.
  • Hands-on experience with tangential flow filtration, centrifugation, and cell culture preferred.
Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
