Laboratory Supervisor - TechMind RPO : Job Details

Overview:

Join a leading clinical laboratory known for innovation, precision, and excellence in patient care. We are currently seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to oversee operations in our Auto-Chemistry department. This full-time, onsite role follows a Tuesday through Friday schedule from 5 PM to 3:30 AM, with one working Saturday every 12 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the end-to-end lab testing workflow, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Provide daily leadership and guidance to team members, including training, evaluations, and performance management.
• Oversee and optimize departmental operations, staffing, and scheduling to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
• Maintain compliance with quality assurance programs, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
• Serve as a technical resource and point of contact for issue resolution within the department.
• Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives for lab efficiency and performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or a related field
• 6–8 years of experience as a Medical Technologist or in a supervisory role
• Active Florida Supervisor's License in Chemistry
• Certified by a recognized laboratory certifying agency (ASCP, AMT, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring laboratory teams
• Familiarity with highly automated laboratory environments
