Laboratory Deputy Director - Tighe & Bond : Job Details

Join the Barnstable County Department of Health & Environment as the full time Deputy Director of the Water Quality Laboratory. Oversee all Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) activities as required by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MA DEP) and perform related work as needed.

Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field with at least 30 credits in chemistry. Three to five years of experience in an environmental analysis laboratory; supervisory experience is desirable. Knowledge of laboratory practices, procedures, and office software. Ability to supervise personnel, interact with officials and clients, operate laboratory equipment, and communicate effectively.
