Laboratory Coordination/Testing Assistant- Personal Flotation Devices - Underwriters Laboratories - UL, LLC : Job Details

We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant to join our Personal Flotation Devices team in RTP, NC. This role is fully onsite Monday-Friday. Builds and/or adapts basic setup and test equipment for performance of tests. Performs tests using general laboratory equipment. Performs routine care of designated test equipment and work area. Operates computer terminal to extract/input readily available information and to use available software. As directed follows defined test plans and datasheets. Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results. Records and explains test results. Reads and interprets results of tests. Prepares charts, graphs and reports to explain test results. Examines test samples, reads measuring instruments and reviews test data with supervisor. Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and operational instructions. As instructed examines customer samples and learns to operate basic tests for each case.
