As a Labor Relations Representative, you will play a key role to our customers at a plant location in the Greater Detroit area. Please note that the exact plant location in Greater Detroit is to be determined.You will identify and drive operating efficiencies through contractual agreements, provide labor relations support to employees and leaders across the organization, and enable a positive workplace culture and environment by:Equitable administration of the collective agreement including grievance administration, interpretation and overall complianceFacilitating effective management/union relationsAdministration of attendance programAdministration and discipline assessmentRun attendance reports and gather information to compile into presentations with trend analysisEEOC and other workplace investigationsCoaching, guiding and providing direction to operating management on assigned shiftImplementation of lean manufacturing activitiesPlease note: The labor relations representative will provide support to both Detroit Assembly Mack and Detroit Assembly Jefferson locations.Key experiences and know-how The following prior experiences will be required for someone to be successful in this role:Interpretation and application of contracts and agreementsManagement of compliance and investigatory processes within a union environmentFacilitation or participation in difficult interactions or situations, focusing on conflict resolutionAnalyzing data and using data to make decisionsBehaviors of a successful Labor Relations RepresentativeCustomer focus mindset, always striving to provide the best support to the employees, management, and the union, while ensuring the continued sustainability of StellantisFocus on building and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders (management and union) through open and transparent communicationOpenness to the viewpoints of others and taking those viewpoints into account when making business decisions or recommendationsAttention to detail and consistent follow throughBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degreeWillingness and ability to work onsite rotating shifts including nights, weekends and occasional holidaysProficient with Microsoft SuitePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or related field2+ years of experience in Human Resources with an emphasis in labor relations in a manufacturing settingKnowledge of Human Resources Information System and reporting toolsExperience working in a lean manufacturing environment
