What Will You Do as the Labor Recruiting Manager for the Bedding Division?

  • Strategic Talent Acquisition
    • Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies for manufacturing positions including all site based manufacturing and warehouse associates.
    • Partner with plant leadership to forecast staffing needs and create proactive recruiting plans.
    • Build talent pipelines for critical bedding manufacturing positions.
  • Bedding Recruiting Team Management
    • Serve as team leader to bedding division recruiters providing ongoing performance management, coaching and leadership to all team members year-round.
  • Local Market Expertise
    • Leverage deep knowledge of the Tupelo-Saltillo-Aberdeen corridor talent market.
    • Build relationships with local educational institutions, workforce development agencies, and community organizations.
    • Establish Ashley's presence as an employer of choice in the region through strategic partnerships and community engagement leading to exemplary quality of hire.
  • Full-Cycle Recruiting Management
    • Manage end-to-end recruiting process from workforce planning through onboarding.
    • Conduct high-volume recruiting for production positions while maintaining quality standards.
    • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and selection criteria.
    • Coordinate interview processes and manage candidate communications.
  • Manufacturing Industry Focus
    • Utilize specialized knowledge of bedding/mattress manufacturing processes, safety requirements, and skill sets.
    • Recruit for positions requiring experience with foam cutting, spring assembly, quilting operations, and automated manufacturing equipment. y
    • Source candidates with relevant manufacturing certifications and technical expertise.
  • Analytics and Reporting
    • Provide weekly reporting on recruiting results with meticulous attention to detail showcasing progress on key recruiting metrics.
  • Talent Acquisition Team Strategic Projects
    • Assist in providing cross-functional support as a member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership team through assigned team or individual based strategic projects that improve the candidate, recruiter, employee and stakeholder experience.

Where and How will You Work?

  • Based in Saltillo, Mississippi with additional oversight of bedding and foam pouring facility in Verona, MS.
  • Combination of office work and manufacturing floor presence.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate recruiting events and candidate interviews.
  • Collaborative team environment with emphasis on results and continuous improvement.

What Do You Need?

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing talent acquisition experience.
  • Proven success in high-volume recruiting within manufacturing environments.
  • Experience recruiting for production, maintenance, and supervisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with ATS systems and recruiting technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing industry experience, preferably in bedding, furniture, or related sectors.
  • Knowledge of North Mississippi talent market and labor dynamics.
  • Experience with workforce development partnerships and apprenticeship programs.
  • Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) to support diverse workforce.
  • Professional certifications in HR or talent acquisition (PHR, SHRM-CP, CIR).
