As the Labor Management & Scheduling Analyst at Grand Casinos, you'll play a vital role in helping our teams maximize the value of our workforce management systems—including ADP and Workday. This position focuses on analyzing labor data, auditing schedules, and ensuring best practices in labor management are integrated with broader HRIS systems. Your insights will help leaders make informed decisions on staffing, compliance, and workforce efficiency. This is a cross-functional role rooted in analytics, fairness, and operational excellence.
What You'll Own
- Analyze labor data, scheduling trends, and workforce performance across all departments
- Provide reports and dashboards on labor usage, staffing efficiency, compliance, and schedule accuracy
- Audit scheduling and workforce data in both ADP and Workday to ensure fairness and consistency
- Identify capacity gaps, overstaffing, or inefficiencies, present actionable recommendations
- Support leaders with data-informed base schedules aligned to guest volume and labor targets
- Deliver training and consultation on ADP, Workday, and scheduling best practices
- Contribute to budgeting by providing labor forecasts and scenario modeling
- Monitor and optimize the full-time/part-time staffing mix to balance business and associate needs
- Propose creative scheduling solutions that align business objectives with associate flexibility
- Partner with HR teams to integrate labor analytics into overall talent management strategies

What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Finance, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in workforce management, labor analysis, or scheduling systems
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ADP and/or comparable workforce platforms
- 2+ years of experience working in an HRIS environment, preferably Workday
- Strong Excel and data visualization skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to turn metrics into actionable insights
- Excellent communication, system training, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to secure a license from the Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA)
- Familiarity with and adherence to Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR's)
- Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Primarily office-based work; involves periods of computer use and occasional presentations.
