The Department of Human Services (DHS), Norristown State Hospital is seeking a motivated and industrious Labor Foreman 2 to direct grounds and landscaping activities. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Labor Foreman 2, you will oversee semi-skilled laborers completing groundskeeping and landscaping. You will maintain all outdoor facilities including roads, parking and cemented areas, sidewalks, sewers, catch basins, railings, fences, and curbing. You will also ensure campus safety by cutting grass, trimming lines, controlling weeds, and removing snow. This role requires the ability to instruct staff in the proper use of equipment and monitor compliance with safety protocols. In addition, you will be required to participate in the Medical Monitoring Program, asbestos training programs, and help repair grounds equipment. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per weekWork hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Four years of experience in performing manual labor, semi-skilled labor or maintenance work, including two years of experience as a lead worker; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training. Special Requirements:
