Lab Technician - 3rd Shift

Location: Santa Rosa CA 95403

Shift: 10pm-6:30am

Duration: 3 Months of Contract with possible extension

Position Overview:

The Confirmations Tech II will be responsible for performing analytical testing, processing instrument data, and ensuring compliance with established SOPs and laboratory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Correctly identify analyzed samples and verify the accuracy of sequence for each batch.
• Process acquired instrument data and generate appropriate reports.
• Conduct the first review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS analytical data according to assay SOPs.
• Transcribe or upload results to the Laboratory Information System (LIS) for final review and certification.
• Maintain proper and complete Chain of Custody batch documentation.
• Communicate with supervisors and promptly escalate emerging challenges.
• Maintain and promote a safe and healthful environment for self and co-workers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in an analytical laboratory.
• Ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, equipment, and instruments.
• Prior laboratory experience (preferred).
