Lab Central Receiving Coordinator - CATHOLIC HEALTH SERVICES OF LONG ISLAND : Job Details

Maintaining and coordinating accessioning, handling, and grossing preparation of surgical specimens and laboratory inquiries regarding specimen collection and processing for the hospital. Maintains and coordinates all laboratory inquiries and procedures regarding referred testing specimen collection processing for the hospital Acts as a resource for hospital personnel regarding specimen procurement, testing and results;Maintains and coordinates all laboratory specimen pick-up and deliveries between CHS Hospitals and CHS Regional Laboratory Service facilities and performs other duties as assigned.
