Korean Interpreter - Insight Global : Job Details

Insight Global is currently seeking a Korean to English Interpreter for a direct hire opportunity supporting the creation of the brand-new battery manufacturing plant in Glendale, KY. This individual will play a very vital role working closing with engineers and executive level managers to translate Korean to English. This individual needs to have experience working within a professional environment translating both writing and verbal communication. They should expect to be onsite in Glendale. It is crucial this individual shows tremendous professionalism, is very reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment to help assist in getting this plant up and running.

This is a permanent hire position with a bonus plan and room for growth. This role also has an extensive relocation package to help support both renters and home owners as they consider joining this state of the art EV facility.

We have openings for intermediate to senior level interpreters, with a starting salary range of $60,000 - $85,000 depending on experience.

Duties

• Provide accurate interpretation services for individuals who are bilingual or multilingual, ensuring clear communication.
• Translate written documents as needed to support effective communication.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism during all interactions.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences regarding language services.
• Stay updated on cultural nuances and terminology relevant to the languages being interpreted.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Bachelors or associates degree
• Experience translating Korean to English working with Engineers or executive level managers ideally
• Fluent in both Korean and English
• Able to speak and write both clearly
• Shows great professionalism

Plusses:

• Experience working within a manufacturing or automotive environment
• Interpreter/Translator certifications or degree
