POSITION SUMMARY
The Kitchen Technician is responsible for abiding by all regulatory requirements while providing support to the edibles kitchen during production.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Work and communicate effectively with others
- Ability to obtain ServSafe certification
- Communicates and collaborates with kitchen manager
- Washing dishes and molds in a timely manner to keep workflow on schedule
- Ensures all incoming ingredients are correct, and stored properly
- Be able to lift and carry heavy items such as pots of candy, and 50# bags of sugar
- Be able to follow SOPs
- Follow cleaning and sanitizing schedules
- Removal of refuse, mopping, sweeping, wiping of surfaces
- Any tasks assigned by Kitchen Lead
- Packaging of edibles
- Ability to work in a group or independently as needed
- Assist in deep cleaning tasks
- Follow all FDA and CRA requirements in the production of food
- Great attendance necessary as we have time sensitive tasks
- Weighing and measuring precisely for batch accuracy
- Perform any other tasks assigned by management

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND/OR LICENSING/CERTIFICATION
- No experience required, 6 months production preferred.
- Must obtain Servsafe certification.
- Knowledge of allergens and cross contamination, or desire to learn.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing schedules.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
