Kids Club Supervisor - Garden of the Gods Resort and Club : Job Details

Position Summary the Recreation Supervisor performs the daily functions of Kids Club: maintaining staff, daily operational duties, and goals in line with the Resort and Club. They will execute from start to finish all children's camps, family club events, kids club, private childcare, supervise pools and staffing and all other family related programs across property. In addition to family programs, the position will assist the Recreation Manager in minimal administrative tasks.

Essential Functions:

• Designing, developing, and implementing educational and entertaining, age and developmentally appropriate, childcare programs for Club Members and Resort Guests.
• Ensuring all children programs: Kids Club and Summer Camps specifically, run in accordance with Colorado State Laws and Regulations.
• Designing, developing, and implementing educational and entertaining summer camps that are age and developmentally appropriate.
• Interviews, hires, and departmentally trains new team members for Kids Club when necessary.
• Designing, developing, and implementing all family events for the Resort and Club.
• Ensuring all information regarding Kids Club, Family Events, and Recreation Programs are up to date on the company website, and the member portal calendar.
• Assists the Recreation Manager with the yearly Recreation budget. This includes but is not limited to invoices, purchase orders, inventory, and labor reviews.
• Supervises the daily operations of all pools across property. This means hiring staff, departmental training of staff, setting up children's aquatic programs, and ensuring the daily functions of the pools are running seamlessly.
• Able to interact with children, aged from infants being able to sit up on their own to ten years of age, at varying levels of physical abilities.
• Able to supervisor up to 8 children at a time all while maintaining a daily interactive age friendly routine.
• Available to work various hours and shifts as dictated by the needs of the operation.
• Assists with maintaining the kids club room and bathroom in a clean, neat, and orderly fashion, including opening/closing, answering the phone, and checking children both in and out, according to established procedures.
• Keeps both Kids Club and storage areas neat and in safe working order.
• Consistently embodies a play well with others demeanor; always maintains a positive all in mind set and constantly demonstrates a pro-active, team-centered approach.
• Assists in establishing and maintaining I AM PROUD attitude for the Resort and Club's family and children's programs/facilities.

Position Requirements:

• This job requires a minimal formal education of a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one-year's related work experience with children: preferably in a daycare or programmed setting.
