Position Summary:

The Key Account Project Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of complex transformer projects for high-profile, strategic customers. This role ensures customer satisfaction, project delivery, and internal alignment across engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and field services. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator and experienced problem-solver with a strong understanding of technical projects and client management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the single point of contact for assigned key accounts, ensuring consistent and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead internal project coordination, working with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and milestones to meet customer and company objectives.
  • Host regular customer calls, status updates, and progress reports.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers to support repeat business and ongoing satisfaction.
  • Monitor project scope and proactively manage changes or escalations.
  • Ensure documentation, contract requirements, and deliverables are completed and communicated accurately.
  • Act as a customer advocate within the organization while balancing internal resource constraints and priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in electrical equipment, manufacturing, or EPC environments.
  • Experience managing large accounts or complex technical projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and customer specifications.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Excel, ERP systems).
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

Preferred Skills & Traits:

  • Knowledge of transformers or power systems strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with utility, industrial, or renewable energy clients.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong customer service mindset and ability to represent the company professionally.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (10–20%).
