Their products include Feed Management Software (Feed), Herd Management Software (Animal), Parlor Management Software (Facility), and Training Software under the People platform (Train Trac). MILC Group's goal is to provide the tools to ensure the future of dairying for Every Dairy.Job Description:MILC Group is seeking a Key Account Manager to cover the Northeast region, calling on dairy farmers, nutritionists, veterinarians, and dealers to sell our Tech Solutions. This will be a traveling position and the Key Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients.Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales plan that aligns with MILC Group's sales strategy for the Midwest region
  • Build and maintain relationships with dairy farmers, nutritionists, and veterinarians in the region
  • Identify and qualify potential customers in the region and convert them into MILC Group's clients
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to customers
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to promote MILC Group's products
  • Provide training and support to customers on MILC Group's products
  • Collaborate with MILC Group's internal teams to provide feedback from customers and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5 years of sales experience within the dairy industry
  • Knowledge of the Northeast region's dairy industry and its key players
  • Ability to travel frequently within the Northeast region
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Maintain a remote working environment and conduct Virtual Sales Calls and Demonstrations.
