Kennel Attendant - Western Veterinary Partners : Job Details

**NO WEEKENDS**Griffin Animal Care is looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our team! . This is a great opportunity for somoene who is open to cross-training in the future as the practice continues to grow. This is a full-time position with scheduling needs Monday-Friday, 4-10s.Full-time benefits and compensation:

• Compensation: $10-$11.50hour **for each hour worked (based on experience)

Background and experience:

• Comfortable around dogs and cats
• Outgoing and friendly personality
• Caring and compassionate attitude towards patients and clients
• Exceptional communication and multi-tasking abilities
• Strong work ethic and ability to jump in and help where needed
• Familiar with (or eager to learn about) the veterinary field (terminology, procedures, medical conditions, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Animal handling, feeding, and cleaning (dogs and cats)
• Medication administration
• Observation of behaviors, and knowing when to alert a veterinarian about a change in one of the patients
• Client communication and education
• General hospital cleaning, restocking, sterilization, etc
