Weber Shandwick, one of the world's leading marketing and communications agencies, is seeking a creative, passionate, and unique thinker to join our Boston office as a Junior Video & Motion Graphics Editor. As part of the team, you'll have the opportunity to bring big ideas to life, through campaign video content for high-profile clients, across the health, wellness, and consumer space.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of video editing, animation, and visual storytelling while tapping into the latest social media trends and animation techniques. This candidate should also be a problem-solver, able to think on their feet, and detail-oriented, with a passion for aspects of video; from storyboards to keyframes.

Experience working in Premiere and After Effects is required.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters and partnering Video Editors to execute or translate creative concepts into compelling digital content (short form / long form campaign assets, influencer content, and animated sizzle videos).
  • Edit high-quality video content with a heavy focus on delivering social assets tailored to each platform.
  • Ensure all creative adheres to existing brand guidelines and social media best practices.
  • Drive projects through the post-production workflow – creative editing, motion graphics, audio mixing, and color correction – to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure timelines and content deliveries.

Qualifications

  • College degree or 0 – 1.5 years working in an agency or related digital video production/post-production environment.
  • Please provide your reel, portfolio, or examples of work for review.
  • Demonstrate creative vision, attention to detail, and an eye for visual storytelling.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software.
  • Premiere and After Effect Experience required.
  • Fluent understanding of social platforms, video content formats, and trends.
