Junior Specialist - Lprs : Job Details

The Junior Specialist is an entry-level employee who will perform a variety of tasks under the supervision of senior specialists or other more experienced professionals. The Junior Specialist will provide expert support in the area(s) specified by the customer, including management, information technology, finance and accounting, auditing, cost estimating, risk analysis, or data analytic/automation development.

Responsibilities:

• Perform research and analysis of data to identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
• Provide customer service to internal or external customers by answering questions about products or services.
• Prepare reports by summarizing data or presenting findings in written format.
• Support senior management by preparing presentations, reports, and proposals.
• Duties include, but are not limited to, developing and applying individualized approaches for problem-solving in the associated areas, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently hold, or able to obtain and maintain, DHS fitness determination.
• Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or applicable related field.
• Must possess demonstrated subject matter work expertise of 2 or more years in the related field.
