Job Title: Junior Sales Director – NY Area

Location/Base: New York / Remote

Note: Team is 100% remote but looking for someone based in the NYC area

Responsible for:

We're looking for a driven and dynamic Junior Sales Director to join our growing team. Based in the New York area, this role is responsible for developing and expanding key client and agency relationships, driving revenue growth, and championing multicultural media solutions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and manage a pipeline of media agencies and direct brand clients across key categories (CPG, retail, entertainment, finance, etc.)
• Lead end-to-end sales process: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction
• Maintain accurate forecasting and revenue tracking in CRM systems
• Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and virtual/in-person briefings
• Partner with leadership to identify strategic opportunities for growth within existing and new accounts
• Supports NY-based outreach and prospecting
• Assists with client meeting prep, RFP tracking, and proposal follow-ups
• Learns vertical strategy while building book of business

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 4–6 years of experience in digital media sales, with a proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong agency and/or brand relationships in the NY market
• Excellent communication and presentation skills—comfortable in the room and on Zoom
• Passion for multicultural media, inclusive storytelling, and culturally relevant marketing
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience with CRM platforms like Boostr, Salesforce, or HubSpot is a plus
• Experience selling branded content, creator partnerships, or programmatic media
• Background working at a media company, publisher, or ad tech platform
• Familiarity with Comscore, Nielsen, or campaign performance metrics
