As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Construction Estimator.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Director of Estimating + Purchasing in preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand the scope of work and identify project requirements.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and other project documents.
• Research and analyze vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Utilize estimating software and tools to organize and maintain estimating data and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for clients.
• Support the procurement team in negotiating prices with vendors and subcontractors.
• Stay updated on industry trends, construction materials, and labor costs to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field .
• Minimum 3 years work experience in construction estimating.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProCore, etc).
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and terminology.

• Full-time, Monday - Friday in office

Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year (commensurate with experience)Benefits:
