Overview of the Position

We are seeking recent university graduates to join our Business Consultant Development Program. As a Junior Business Consultant, you will enhance your skills to drive innovation and foster partnerships with our Life Sciences customers (Pharma and Biotech).

Your Role

This early career program offers comprehensive workshops, personalized mentorship, and a collaborative culture to aid your development as a Business Consultant. You will work alongside experienced Business Consultants in customer-facing roles, helping to craft impactful business solutions.

Our Analytics team utilizes Veeva's industry-leading data to equip Life Sciences customers with smarter business strategies, focusing on areas such as targeting, segmentation, field team activation, and understanding patient and healthcare professional behaviors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering components of customer engagements, including communications, workshops, stakeholder interviews, data analysis, and timeline management.
• Leverage data and analytics to drive business solutions.
• Collaborate with Business Consultants to optimize customer operating models, processes, and analytics.
• Contribute to various projects within the Veeva Analytics Business Consulting team.
• Conduct research to enhance industry and customer knowledge for consulting programs and business development.
• Help customers maximize the potential of Veeva Cloud software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
• Equivalent skills gained through work experience or self-study are accepted.
• 0-2 years of professional experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving acumen.
• Ability to understand and apply quantitative and technical concepts.
• Capable of articulating business and technical concepts as potential strategic solutions.
• Familiarity with data and analytics and their influence on business outcomes.
• Experience in data analysis and creating visual representations to communicate business solutions.
• Basic understanding of SQL, Python, or a similar coding language.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• Adept at managing time and meeting deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to commute to the Boston or New York City office for in-person commitments.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of your time annually.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of SQL, Python, or a similar coding language.
• Experience in consulting and/or the Life Sciences sector.
• Familiarity with software, data reporting, and data visualization tools.
• Demonstrated resilience and a strong work ethic.
• A mission-driven mindset through volunteering or leadership involvement.

Compensation

• Salary: $65,000 - $80,000, based on experience.

Veeva operates as a Work Anywhere company. You can alternate between remote work and office presence, provided you are within a 45-minute to 1-hour commute distance from our Boston or New York City office.
