Job Summary:

Impact Advisors is a nationally recognized healthcare management consulting firm dedicated to delivering exceptional advisory and optimization services. They are seeking an AI Engineer to innovate and deploy machine learning models, collaborate with teams, and ensure the successful implementation of AI solutions in healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy advanced machine learning models to solve real-world problems, transforming research concepts into impactful AI-driven applications.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand complex business challenges and deliver AI-powered solutions.

• Implement scalable data pipelines, optimize model performance and accuracy, and ensure production readiness.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in machine learning and AI; participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.

• Monitor and maintain deployed models to ensure continuous value delivery, directly influencing how AI benefits individuals, businesses, and society.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 2+ years in roles like Customer Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Platform Engineer.

• 2+ years of experience training or fine-tuning deep learning models.

• Recent experience building production systems with large language models.

• Proven experience in deep learning and transformer models.

• Proficiency with PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.

• Familiarity with training large language models (e.g., distillation, supervised fine-tuning, policy optimization).

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred).

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Proactive approach to challenges and a willingness to own problems end-to-end.

• Ability to navigate and execute amidst ambiguity with competing priorities or deadlines.

• Up to 20% active participation in client-facing workshops, validation sessions, or educational sessions.

Preferred:

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics or related field
