ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Seeking a Junior Packaging Designer specializing in packaging design to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a wide range of at home products from cosmetics and skincare to pillows and gift bags in a quick-to-market environment. In this role, you will work directly with the creative team and project managers from concept all the way through print. An ideal candidate has a portfolio that exemplifies a genuine interest in theat home space /beauty/cosmetic industry and current market trends, with a versatile aesthetic demonstrating a strong command of composition, color judgment, typography, and hierarchy.

• Developing new looks and ideas based on specific project briefs and inspiration.
• Create mock-ups from scratch in Ai/PS
• Maintain consistency throughout brand guidelines and collections.
• Collate the correct assets from the teams (i.e., product copy & claims, product references, dimensions, and weights)
• Adhere to all creative timelines and ensure the artwork is released in a timely manner.
• Produce print-ready files and tech packs for suppliers.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES

• Must have 1-3 years of full-time experience in graphic design (packaging preferred)
• Proficiency in Adobe CC, primarily Illustrator & Photoshop
• Must have a portfolio and proven experience in packaging design.
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment with tight deadlines and quick turnaround.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor s Degree in Graphic Design, or related field with 1 years experience; or an associate degree with 2 years of Industrial Design and/or Graphic Design; or 3+ years Industrial Design and/or Graphic Design or related experience
