We're hiring a Junior Field/Resident Engineer to support two NYC Parks Department projects focused on sidewalk reconstruction and urban tree health. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who thrives outdoors, enjoys working independently, and is ready to grow within a mission-driven organization.
Important Requirement: A personal vehicle is required for daily site visits across the five boroughs.
About the RoleYou'll be responsible for visiting multiple project sites each day, overseeing contractors, and ensuring work aligns with city standards and environmental goals. From saw cutting and excavation to tree planting and concrete restoration, you'll be the eyes and ears on the groundtracking progress, ensuring safety, and keeping communication flowing between contractors and clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
