Working as a database administrator means using technical skills to support life-saving research and patient care. • Manage and maintain SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL databases on Windows/Linux
• Support ETL processes, performance tuning, backups, recovery, and database lifecycle
• Collaborate with developers on data modeling and implementation
• Create and run SQL queries and reports for research teams
• Document systems and workflows using Confluence
• Provide production support and participate in on-call rotation
• Evaluate tools/software for improved performance and functionality

• 1+ years of DBA experience
• Strong troubleshooting and SQL skills
• Background in software development, especially Java and Hibernate
• Experience with database tools (e.g., SSMS, MySQL Workbench, PG Admin)
• Familiarity with clustering, replication, and open-source databases
• Experience in research, healthcare, or medical environments
• Comfortable working remotely and independently
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, or related field
