We are currently seeking experienced journeyman commercial plumbers to join our tenant improvement team. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial new construction or tenant improvement projects. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals looking for consistent work, a strong support team, and a company that values your trade.What We OfferCompany-issued work vehicle for job-related commutesFlexible start location - begin your shift directly from your homeStable night shift schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.Two-week training programAnnual performance reviews for ongoing development and growthOvertime available but not guaranteed weeklyResponsibilitiesAttach or install plumbing pipes such as: PVC, ABS, Cast Iron (no hub) and/or copperMount new fixtures according to manufacture specifications and municipal codesInstall service for grease traps, sump pumps, sanitary waste, water systems and utilities within a commercial retail environmentPerform manual labor to clean and prepare jobsites which includes but not limited to dig trenches, set braces to support excavations sides, erect scaffolding and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materialsProperly use equipment such as a jack hammers and saw cuttersRead and layout from blueprints, plans and isometric drawingsMust be able to work according to current OSHA safety guidelines and policiesWillingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the department Requirements Minimum of four years of commercial plumbing experienceValid driver license with no more than two points or driving restrictions on the driving recordAbility to pass a pre-employment drug testVerbal and written English literacy for the use of cell phone and mobile email communication Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a service and construction company providing customer service throughout California and other states.
