The Security Monitor maintains general security for The Salvation Army campus, including all three buildings and the parking lot. Specific duties shall include but not be limited to the following:
Is responsible for greeting all residents and answering the telephone, to log in all activities (which residents are on the property, people passing through Stuart House, etc.) and reporting any odd occurrences or inappropriate behavior, first line of defense for all emergencies on the campus, monitoring the participants and volunteers of the My Brother's Table Program, recording names of the participants of the My Brother's Table Program for statistics, cleaning Security office, hallways, and taking out the trash, filling out statistical reports for My Brother's Table Program, collecting data and issuing program information cards, ensure that only authorized staff (never residents) to be permitted in the Program Monitoring/Security Office. Authorized staff are outlined in the Security Procedures Manual, lock up building at closing time and end of the shift, Monitor evening meals.
