Ayass Bioscience and Ayass Laboratory are seeking a talented Bioinformatics Scientist as a consultant/full time employee to join our team analyzing complex gene expression datasets. You will work cross-functionally to derive insights from large-scale transcriptomics data across various disease models by building specialized analysis pipelines, machine learning models, and pathway annotations.
Requirements:
- PhD with 5+ years experience in RNA-seq analysis and transcriptome profiling
- Expertise in differential expression analysis, gene set enrichment, genomic pattern recognition
- Proficiency building pipeline workflows, ML models, interactive visualizations in R/Bioconductor
- Experience linking transcriptomic signatures to drug response, clinical outcomes data
- Knowledge of pathway databases for functional enrichment integration
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex multi-omic findings
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing high-throughput transcriptomic sequencing data from various biological systems
- Interpreting differential expression patterns and co-expression networks
- Developing transcriptomics-based biomarkers using machine learning techniques
- Working with ML engineers to integrate multi-omic data into predictive models of disease progression and therapeutic response
- Linking mechanistic pathway analysis with pharmacology models
- Annotating genes and variants with the latest knowledge on disease ontologies
- Visualizing multi-omic datasets to uncover genotype-phenotype relationships
- Continually refining methodology as new insights into disease emerge
- Presenting techniques and results to diverse audiences
