Position Details

• This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $6,000+, depending on experience.
• The Advanced Diesel Technician performs advanced diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and Ag Management Solutions products.
• Participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs.
• Mentor Service Technician Trainees.
• Support customer clinics.
• Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintain vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment condition.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Complete reports and track time and materials.
• Work hours are typically Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, with seasonal variations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to perform advanced repairs using specialized tools and following manuals.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent diagnostic skills.
• Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
• Valid drivers license and work authorization in the U.S.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate of $26-$40+ depending on experience, plus sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

Additional Requirements
