Our client is seeking a Java Spring Boot Developer in Chicago, IL.

We are looking for a Senior Developer to work on, deploy, and manage web and API-based applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about their work and embraces software craftsmanship and Agile development practices.

• 10-14 years of hands-on experience in developing web-based software applications.
• Collaborate with product managers and peers on various projects for digital products.
• Design and build technical solutions for future enhancements.
• Design complex, secure, and optimized web applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, DevOps, Cloud Platforms (OCP, Kubernetes), and modern CI/CD tools (STS/IntelliJ, GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus), JWT, OAuth, etc.
• Work closely within a cross-functional Agile team to understand requirements, create design documents, and implement stories.
• Break down product visions into workable technical solutions to address business problems.
• Build high-quality software for large-scale, highly available systems.
• Provide strong technical and team leadership.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Promote a risk-aware culture and adhere to standards and processes for risk and compliance management.
