Java Software Engineer 2 - Garmin International : Job Details

We are seeking a full-time Software Engineer 2 in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for developing backend services for our fitness and outdoor products. Essential Functions Develops and maintains Java-based services using Spring, Junit, REST, and relational databases. Experience with big data and Elasticsearch is a plus. Works collaboratively with stakeholders and other Garmin associates in cross functional teams to achieve goals and meet deadlines. Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems Apply a sense of urgency, commitment, and focus on the right priorities in developing solutions in a timely fashion.
