Compensation:

$90.00/hour - $100.00/hour

What You'll Do

• Analyze and debug existing mainframe systems to identify and resolve issues
• Lead efforts to transition legacy mainframe infrastructure to modern platforms while ensuring business continuity
• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications that interface with modernized systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business goals
• Mentor junior developers in mainframe and Java technologies
• Document system designs, specifications, and updates
• Ensure adherence to development standards, coding practices, and security guidelines

What You'll BringRequired Qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Experience with mainframe technologies (e.g., COBOL, PL/1, Natural)
• Proven Java application development skills
• Ability to debug and resolve complex system issues
• Experience with system migration and modernization projects
• Strong communication skills
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+, IBM Certified Specialist, Oracle Certified Java SE Developer
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps methodologies
• Experience with automated migration tools and legacy DevOps tools
• Exposure to modern stacks like .NET, microservices, data analytics
