Infosys is seeking an enthusiastic Java Full Stack Lead Consultant with proven requirement gathering skills and experience in preparing technical requirement documents based on information gathered in technical workshops. This position involves contributing across multiple phases of the consulting lifecycle: business process consulting, defining the problem, proposing and creating the solution; and guiding teams on project processes, deliverables, proposal development, client training and internal capability building to help detail the project scope. • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of NYC, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. This position requires 4 days a week in person working from a client office based out of NY location
• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 8 years of Information Technology experience.
• Good understanding of Financial Services domain.

This position will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle; involved in business process consulting; define the problem, propose and create the solution; also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution; and will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. • Candidate should be responsible for leading and managing end to end technical deliverables of 4 to 5 cross functional POD teams
• Role demands strong proficiency in Fullstack engineering including Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, RESTful APIs, Microservices, testing frameworks (Jasmine/Karma), CI/CD pipelines, MongoDB, SQL and Azure cloud
• Demonstrates the ability to provide technical oversight across multiple POD teams, ensuring consistency in technical standards and leveraging the expertise of senior team members to achieve project outcomes
• Articulate solution approach to both business & IT stakeholders at low/mid/senior levels, from concept phase through build and deployment to support phase, gain their confidence
• Work closely with client stakeholders including engineering leads, Product team & solution architects etc.
• Possesses the ability to think strategically about software systems, designing solutions that are scalable, maintainable, secure, and align with business needs
• Finance (trading, investing, clearing, reporting, servicing, wealth data) domain knowledge is must.
• Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements
• Application and development of standards and policies - both technical and methodology
• Experience to work in a Global delivery environment
• Experience in Cloud based development platforms and end to end integration
• Familiarity with agile development processes and methodologies

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
